Kristin M. Kaminski is the managing attorney of Kaminski Law Group and is certified as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by the State Bar of California — a distinction earned by attorneys who demonstrate expertise and experience in this highly specialized area.
Kristin focuses her practice on estate planning and estate administration, including trust administration and probate. She is passionate about helping families plan for the future, navigate the complexities of administering a trust or estate, and avoid unnecessary conflict whenever possible. Kristin provides personalized guidance to her clients, taking the time to truly understand their goals, values, and concerns.
Licensed to practice in California, Nevada, and Wisconsin, Kristin frequently works with families who have connections to multiple states — helping them coordinate planning and administration across state lines when needed.
Known for her approachable style and practical advice, Kristin is a frequent speaker on estate planning topics and has served as a featured presenter at webinars, seminars, and workshops for both professional organizations and community groups.
Over the past decade, Kristin has worked with hundreds of individuals and families throughout California, Nevada, and Wisconsin, helping them protect what matters most and ensuring their wishes are carried out with clarity and compassion.
Kristin earned her law degree from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she received Dean’s List honors. A highlight of her time in law school was interning with the U.S. Navy JAG Corps at Pearl Harbor, Hawai’i. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business and Management from Alverno College, a top-ranked Catholic women’s college in Milwaukee, where she graduated with Honors.
Kristin is an active member of the legal community. She is the past chair and a founding member of the Placer Women Lawyers Section of the Placer County Bar Association. She is also a member of the Probate & Estate Planning Section of the Placer County Bar Association, a volunteer with the Placer County Self Help Probate Workshop, and a past Vice President of Marketing for the South Placer Estate Planning Council.
Kristin has been recognized by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, an honor given to no more than 5% of attorneys in the country.
