KRISTIN M. KAMINSKI, MANAGING ATTORNEY

Kristin M. Kaminski is the managing attorney of Kaminski Law Group and certified as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by the State Bar of California. The cornerstone of her practice is estate planning and administration, including trust administration and probate. During the planning process, Kristin provides tailored solutions to meet each client’s unique needs and desires, advising families and business owners on all aspects of estate planning. Kristin is a creative planner and takes the necessary steps to reduce the chances of litigation. Advising fiduciaries and beneficiaries in the administration and management of both taxable and non-taxable estates, Kristin understands that serving as a trustee or executor involves many complexities and she is dedicated to providing each client with compassion and peace of mind. Over the past decade, Kristin has worked with hundreds of individuals in California and Nevada to assist them in navigating the complex trust administration and probate process.

Kristin earned her law degree from Marquette University Law School, where she received Dean’s List honors. A highlight of law school was interning with the U.S. Navy JAG Corps at Pearl Harbor, Hawai’i. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business and Management from Alverno College, a top-ranked Catholic women’s college, where she was among a small number of students to graduate with Honors.

Kristin is an active member in the legal community, serving as a founding member of the Placer Women Lawyers Section of the Placer County Bar Association and the past Vice President-Marketing of the South Placer Estate Planning Council. She is also a member of the Probate & Estate Planning Section of the Placer County Bar Association, a volunteer with the Placer County Self Help Probate Workshop, and a past volunteer with the Sacramento Estate Planning Clinic. Additionally, Kristin was selected for the past four years as a Northern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, which recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state. Kristin has also been nominated by Best Lawyers: “Ones to Watch” since 2021 in Trust & Estates.
